Moyuru Shiroma
Moy grew up on the small tropical island of Okinawa, Japan — a place where intense sunlight, vivid nature, and quiet emotional depth coexist.
This environment shaped his instinctive use of bright colors as a way to express mood, energy, and memory.
In his work, Moy explores the duality of human emotion — joy and tension, playfulness and darkness — by layering vivid acrylic colors and spray paint with the sharp contrasts of stencil imagery.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Tohoku University of Art & Design and continuing his studies in Rockland County, New York, Moy received multiple awards in visual arts from both institutions.
Today, through exhibitions and collaborations with companies, he continues to share his visual language — one that invites viewers to feel, rather than simply observe.
